So, I end up not switching shifts with my co-worker. And after all that extended, drama-filled ranting last week, too. Oh well. I still feel bad for the guy, but once I got beyond the "just feeling bad" part and looked to the possible ramifications of doing this I realized that what I felt was sympathy, not guilt.
