.... being reptiles, have to bask in the sun on the rocks to warm up their blood, and to prevent predators from picking them off, are masters of camouflage.
I can see the little lizards if I study the photos carefully, but what I really like is the beautiful rocks themselves! You can see how there were sediment layers that were later super-heated and churned as mountains were created. And then even later those mountains were eroded down and left these rock chunks to grow moss. Fascinating. Like looking at the inside of the earth's body.
