Keeping Busy...

Aug 10, 2009 10:32

So I've been absolutely insane lately. There are no words. I am working on a bellydance commission (gotta get pumping, running out of time). I'm feverishly working with Joel to clean house (oh man, where did the time go?). To keep myself sane, I'm hanging out with Whitney a lot (and local John when we can get together), and doing a lot of ( Read more... )

Yus I did! I'm vera happy. 2 night stay at a resort hotel, golf tee times for two (which I might see if I can sell), 30 minute spa treatments for two, and the $100 in gas cards. I'm not going to take Joel since he doesn't care, so I'm trying to see which local I'm going to invite to go with me. >.> I think I have it narrowed down to two. XD Figure if I can convince them to pay the gas in order for them to get a free weekend, then I can use the gas cards to save us some monies so I can buy food and maybe some stuff while I'm there. ::is a dork::

Boo to work grinding to a halt!

Yay bowling! I need to go bowling. It's been too long.

Yay for seeing friends! Lucky duck.

Awesome on the win. ^^ Hope you have fun with that.

Um..as for me.. I haven't posted much at all in the last couple of months, so you can literally just go to my journal and read the recent entries. *shrug*

Sucks about your blood drive problem. You might have been low enough on iron to mess you up, but still have enough to pass their drop test.

Are you going to D*C?

I suppose that's a possibility. There are a lot of probable causes, I'm sure. Whatever happened, it wasn't normal.

::huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugs:: OF COURSE I AM. XD We paid for our tickets last year, go us. Wish I had a lifetime, though. ;-; Ah well. One day, maybe...

The next time you give blood I'd mention it to the tech. It might be something common with a quick fix.

Good! I haven't seen you in two years!! I see Patti more than that!

I've already decided it worth it to get a life-time pass. Can I see myself going to 10 more Dragoncons? Yes! Boom, done, decision time is over. Now I just have to come up with $1k. :( It's a shame they don't have a monthly billing for it.

;-; Yea... missing!!!

It's definitely worth it. The money's the issue, though. And really, unless they've upped the prices again, $1k would be 20 D*Cons at the current year-before rate? We only paid $50 apiece last year. And I'd have to come up with $2k so I could get one for Joel and one for me. That's crazygonuts. I may never have that kind of free cash all at once, that I'm able to drop there... if I do, it'd likely all be our con spending money or something. XD

They did make me lie on a table, yes. I was fine when I got up, and about a half an hour or more later, after the drive home. But as soon as I was home, after about 10-15 minutes on my feet starting to prepare dinner, the vertigo hit me, followed shortly by the nausea, and then the blackouts.
