We've needed an escape for a while: a vacation, some time to ourselves, some time where we don't have to worry about ANYTHING but enjoying ourselves. So we planned such a vacation. We saved. How did I miss this entry?? (Oh yeah, weird work schedule means I've been piecemeal reading LJ.)

It used to be "Disney-MGM Studios" and everyone called it "MGM." Now it's "Disney's Hollywood Studios" and everyone still calls it "MGM." ;) Universal Studios is the competition.

If you haven't already, check out allears.net Fantastic resource gives you all the info about hours, menus, resources and such.

Also, check in with your hotel whenever you arrive. Even if your room isn't ready, they can hold your luggage for you and have it delivered to your room while you're out enjoying the parks.

Keep in mind too that days you're not staying at one of the official Disney-owned resorts, parking is $12 a day for the parks. (Even if you hop from one park to another in a day - pending that you have park hopping option of course - you only pay parking once.) Resort guests get free parking.

Well, here's one thing that works out: Tower of Terror is one of the premier attractions at Disney's Hollywood Studios. So no worries there! :)

Try not to stress *too* much - remember, it's supposed to be a vacation! *laughs*
