So It's Con Season

In the thick of things, really, and possibly a little late on the uptake. I won't really be doing much in the way of conventions this year. I'm attending AWA to help a dealer friend, and I may briefly visit D*Con to help someone with their wig. Beyond that, no con, no show, no go. It's sad, really. I miss it. I can't afford to. ;-; Like I said, I may visit D*Con briefly to help someone with a Lemmings wig, but I can't afford to get badges, so why bother?

well, it's good to know your limitations i guess *sigh*
I hate going into halloween stores. I always end up wanting to buy way more than i can afford :p

I suppose. It doesn't make me feel good at all, though, to be responsible and bow out on D*Con. I hate it.

XD So you really love going into them, and just don't have the self control to keep yourself from buying, ne? ::grins::

oh, no, i can dredge up the self-control if need be, but it sucks to see all of this cool/fun stuffs and know that you can't really afford to splurge. *cry*

I'm going to be posting to the lemming community this weekend. I'm going to help organize, but if you're up to it, you're leading the troups unless a Founder shows up. Of the Founders, Joel and I aren't going, cactaur and his wife have a small child now, and she's pregnant again going into this D*Con, and ishboo is getting married the following weekend. I don't know if any of them will want to/be able to lead the lemmings. ::hug clings:: It will be a sad year for lemmings, with the minimal response we've gotten so far. And for that, I'm very sorry to those of you that are going to be there this year. But I'll make a post about all this tonight or this weekend, and will probably email everyone involved to get confirmations on what they are doing. We'll get it worked out. And we'll be back full force in 2008.

If you can get 5 confirmations I'll lead the group. If it's under that...well it just doesn't have the same impact. If you like though I'll help the other girl with her wig so you don't have to fight traffic and get tempted with something you want.

That's fair. Although I feel bad if the group falls through and the new girl doesn't have anyone to walk with. ;-;

You don't have to do that. I work downtown, so I'll be in the area anyway on Friday, if I can get a hold of her then. And I may wander in Lemming a bit Friday afternoon, since coworkers really want to see me in something, whether I attend the con or not. >.>
