It sounds like you are doing all the right things in being open and honest in your communication with your family and hopefully it will continue to yield good results, but if not, you can know you did everything you could and not carry it on your shoulders.

I hope this year proves easier for you and you are missed around here, bb! (I was looking at Dark Angel stuff on Tumblr a few days ago and I thought of you!)
