That was an expensive weekend. I mean, on the sliding scale of car costs it wasn't hugely expensive, but on the scale of, you know, usual weekend purchases, dropping £7,000 plus PX on a car is a little beyond my weekend grocery shopping or pottering around Primark.

I was beginning to think the Fates were against me. I left work early yesterday at half three, so I could be back home in Derbyshire to collect my new car at 6pm. I have been having so many problems with my car, it's been driving me mad. Not major problems, not expensive problems - just little niggly things that mean I've lost all faith in it. I ran over a pothole on the way home and it really jarred the left-hand side of the car, and now the front tyre is making an odd pulsing hiss, so I think I may have a puncture.
