It's amazing how tiring doing nothing is...

I went down to London today to see Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's. I swear, I've no idea how I'm so tired. Just think of how tired you'd be if you'd been sitting on a horse instead of on a chair with cushions. With your legs wrapped around the belly of that horse.

Now, isn't that inspiring?

US ignorance here - what's a stone? I've read it quite often in books, and magazines, but can't recall ever seeing just what that amount is (pretty much like hands when referring to the height of a horse - read it often, could not explain if my life depended on it!).

Congratulations on getting close to that goal!

As for being tired - sometimes it's just the travel itself that's tiring, and not what you were doing along the way.

A stone is fourteen pounds - imperial measurements. We're kinda schizophrenic in our uses over here - we use metric for some things and imperial for others.

Thanks for the definition. I'll try to keep that poundage in mind for the next time I see it mentioned.
