Okay, why did nobody warn me that there are several episodes of Hornblower that contain the combined hotness of Ioan Gruffudd, Paul McGann, Philip Glenister and Jamie Bamber, not to mention Robert Lindsay, who I've always had one of those weird older-man crushes on? I mean, that much hotness and in breeches as well

Hornblower needs to totally pay more attention, because Pellew is so fond of him and worries so much and totally tells Hornblower in his own roundabout way and Hornblower is just 'bwuh?' *thwacks Hornblower round the head*

Ooh, this sounds intriguing! What is Hornblower, and why have I not seen it if there is so much hotness and good? I am so behind the times.

It's an drama series set during the Napoleonic Wars, based on the Horatio Hornblower series by C.S.Forester. It's sort of a naval version of Sharpe, really! It's about Horatio Hornblower, who starts off as a midshipman in the Royal Navy and works his way up. Ioan Gruffudd plays Hornblower - you might have seen him in the Fantastic Four or King Arthur? And it's awesome and I love it.

Ooooh, that does sound good! I have a huge soft spot for the Napoleonic wars, hee. I haven't actually seen Ioan Gruffudd in anything, but my roommate drools over her frequently, so I do know the face. Must download when I get home! Yay, more things to watch!
