Okay, why did nobody warn me that there are several episodes of Hornblower that contain the combined hotness of Ioan Gruffudd, Paul McGann, Philip Glenister and Jamie Bamber, not to mention Robert Lindsay, who I've always had one of those weird older-man crushes on? I mean, that much hotness and in breeches as well?

Also, I love Captain Pellew. Just love him. Adore him. Worship him. I love how proud he is of Hornblower and how fond he is of him and much he worries about him when he's off swashing his buckle and derring his do or whatever the hell the phrases are, even though he'd never admit it. And meep, in the penultimate episode when he tells Hornblower how hard it is for a father to watch his children grow up and Hornblower doesn't understand and Pellew tells him he will. *flails* I love Captain Pellew.
