My cousin (well, actually my cousin's daughter, so technically my second cousin?) got married this week, and oh my Lord. Talk about over-the-top. I've never seen anything like it. I mean, she's an only child, daddy's little girl, her mother is Romany, and they're not short of a few bob, so I was expecting it to be fairly ostentatious, but...wow. I

It's all about the cake. Nothing else is really interesting to me as far as weddings go. But I do enjoy a fancy cake.

How delightfully over the top! I have never encountered one so tall! I hope it was tasty. Nothing is sadder than a fancy cake with a mediocre taste. (The most expensive wedding I ever attended had the worst cake, oddly.)

Wow. I'm speechless. 500 guests and they fed them all TWICE? With an open bar all that time? That is an unbelievable amount of money. That had to be quite the thing to see though!

Totes feel your pain, I die of second hand embarrassment at big weddings. Still, the open bar has got to have helped ease some of the pain right?

I reckon as long as I'm allowed what I like (little and personal with really good food) everyone else can have whatever they want too. (As long as I don't have to dress up in something obsurd)
