In that I'm craving pie. Not in any other ways. I'm not feeling an urge to pine after angels or cut vampires' heads off or rock out to 'Eye of the Tiger' in a black Impala or anything like that, don't worry.

Key Lime Pie is surprisingly easy to make. The most painful part of it is juicing a bunch of those tiny limes. But the recipe I use is basically lime, condensed milk and a little egg in a nice cookie crust.

See, the problem is...well, actually there's more than one problem. The first is that I've never actually seen those tiny limes in the shops, only regular sized limes. Second is, you can't buy cookie crusts, which would require me to make one, which leads to the third problem, which is...I'm a wretched cook. I tried making pumpkin pie last year, and, let's just say it didn't end well. For me or the pumpkin. Which took a lot of tracking down and no small expense in and of itself, since it's nigh on impossible to find canned pumpkin outside of Selfridge's food hall, and to my knowledge there's only two of those in the country, and I'm not near either.
