Bronchitis at 11,600ft = FAIL. Now that I'm back down at 3000ft, and still can't climb stairs without getting light-headed, I know it wasn't just altitude sickness. But reduced lung capacity + 661mbars of air pressure (66% that at sea level) meant I couldn't sleep, much less walk. So I was miserable for a couple of 'acclimatization' days, then ( Read more... )

Oh LAME!! Altitude totally makes being sick exponentially worse. Kick back and enjoy the rest of your trip. We can't wait to hear the rest of your stories!
