I tried sushi for the first time yesterday, with a pile of benadryl next to me on the table. (I *think* I only have a shellfish allergy, but I'm reasonably cautious. Stop laughing.)

Then at some point you find yourself sitting there saying "the rice is extra filler calories and the soy distracts from the natural flavor. Give me a plate of raw fish stat."
