So I spent a little money on myself the other day and bought an awesome dinner, some clothes and - BOOKS! I bought kiddo two books, the hubs a book, and myself two books. I purchased The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle by Murakami and I can't wait to dive into the 600 or so pages of content and blissfully shut out the world at night :)

I love zombie movies, but I'm kinda wary about this series. How scary is it? I can deal with Dawn of the Dead & Resident Evil, but 30 Days Later pretty much scared me a bit. XD

Eh... the series is... I don't want to say it's not scary. It does have its moments, but the human element of it is what I like. I'd say maybe try the first episode and see how you feel with it.

Ooh, okay! I probably won't be able to resist, anyway. Everytime I go to a DVD store, it draws me in and my fingers itch. XD I'd have to find a watching partner, though, coz I can never watch that alone. Lol.

I originally had wanted to go out to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes and then go have a drink or four with some friends, lol. But everyone had to work and I was the only person interested in seeing that movie -.-'
I ended up just going out to dinner with my mom and kiddo. And when I was told happy birthday kiddo was like "This is ridiculous." hahaha XD
Hehe. Scratch the itch and go for it! Like I said, it has its moments, but the story of the survivors is what's so intriguing. If you don't like it, do you have a place where you can go and trade DVDs or anything like that?
