actually this wasn't intended as a message to northwestern nearly so much as it was a message to the corporate world. northwestern students, if nothing else, at least tend to relax a little on weekends. and they don't have kids to ignore. (to continue on my self-righteous course, i append 'yet'.)

at any rate, i was neither trying to please nor offend anyone. nor was i trying to be self-righteous. i just get a little frustrated at times at the way so many people seem to prioritize their lives. but i digress.

this is a wonderful post and i wish i could experience this scenario at least once this winter, though i don't think it will happen.
