an 11-year-old got raped because 18 people suspended their humanity long enough to do something heinous and horrific, and how she was dressed is at most a side issue, and really not even that.
Yes, this so much.
I've been reading a bit about this case on some other progressive sites, and apparently, the coverage of it in the general media has been horrifyingly victim-blaming. I just can't fathom what is wrong with people.
