John had been researching hard core for a while now, but had really gone at it since this past weekend and Sam's demonstration of his psychic abilities. It was slow slogging, but he felt like he was suddenly getting somewhere. The problem was to pursue the leads he'd dug up he was going to have go out on a Hunt -- an extended one

To say that Zoe wasn't happy about John leaving for god only knew how long to go on a hunt would be an understatement, especially considering the demon he was trying to find. Still, she was trying to deal with the news as well as she could. It helped to fight the terrifying worry.

"You'd better not be gone for too long, or I might need to have a torrid affair to satisfy my needs," she said, standing in the doorway of the study. "I wonder if Ghanima would be willing to help me."

"If she does, take lots of pictures," John deadpanned, he pushed his chair back from his desk and beckoned her to come over.

"You don't want me to bring the video camera?" she teased, going over to join him. "I figured that would be a lot more effective."

John grinned and pulled her down into his lap. "I love smart women."
