Holy crow, Mary Frakkin' McDonnell on The Closer tonight! It was sort of like a mini HBIC showdown between her character and Brenda. How awesome
( Read more... )
Yay! Mary! it was so nice to see her finally step back into her HBIC boots!
it's sort of like they take the typical "not at all realistic to the legal process" crime procederal show shenanigans and dial it all the way up to eleven
LOL! OMG yes!
and Flynn and Provenza could basically have their own show, I luff their crazy shenanigans!
I'm still not entirely over the episode last seaon, with the fat guy whose body had gotten all bloated in the trunk of his car? And they were going to tow it, but it broke off the chain, so it rolled down the hill, crashed into a telephone pole trunk first, and then caught on fire. And the whole time Flynn's on the phone with Brenda, and he's like "So, the guy could've been shot...or, uh, died in a crash...or a fire" and Brenda on the other end is just like "WTF??" And then they arrest that "lady" that turns out to be a dude in a dress and a wig, but they only figure that out AFTER Sanchez kisses "her". And then he's all like "...I'm gonna go to therapy now." LOL, oh crazy SHOW.
OMGS! YES! I love those crazy episodes! Ooooh and the one where Flynn and Provenza have skybox tickets and they find a dead women in Provenza's garage! I love those crazy eps!
YES. The dead woman in Provenza's garage! Or the one with the dead woman in the casket of their friend that falls out as they're carrying him out of the church (man, what is it with Flynn and Provenza randomly stumbling across bodies?), and then Brenda gets into a girlfight with that bitchy bride who wants to use the church while it's still a crime scene, so Brenda arrests the whole wedding party.
Oh god, or that one from awhile ago, maybe even the first season I think, with the gay man that gets killed, and they think at first it's a hate crime, but then it turns out it was his partner that did it because he was leaving him for another dude, and Brenda is doing her typical end of the episode dramatic confrontation scene, and she has all these pictures of the dead man and his new lover in like, naked super sexy poses, and she keeps revealing them one after another, and me and my friend are just sitting there watching this with our eyes just getting bigger and BIGGER as she goes.

I'd probably have to wait a couple of months before I see this ep. *grumbles about delayed telecasting*
