Oh my god, I just happened to catch part of a very old Friends rerun on TV, and I was literally laughing out loud for a good two minutes, partially because of the following dialogue, but very much because I knew exactly what Ross was talking about.

ROSS: [on phone with museum] "What? Australopithecus isn't supposed to be in that display!" [

I love the early episodes of Friends. They're so much funnier. This is probably one of my favorites:

Joey: If the Homo sapiens were, in fact, homo sapiens, is that why they're extinct?
Ross: Joey, Homo sapiens are people.
Joey: Hey, hey, I'm not judging!

I never really watched Friends, but from the scattered reruns I've caught, it does seem like it was better before they got all caught up in the various convolutions of love-drama and the what have you.
