Where's My "Duh Duhn"??

Seriously, what is this? I can't remember the last time I've gone this long without watching a rerun of Law & Order! It's usually on all the time. On at least three different channels! Several times a day ( Read more... )

I'm the same. L&O reruns, my day isn't complete without at least two of them. I hate Saving Grace. I find that show so annoying, and it took up my L&O time last week. I was heartily annoyed. :/

Ugh, I really don't see the appeal of Saving Grace at all! That and Burn Notice...oh, and that stupid reality show about the Millionaire's dating club! Those are they shows they keep playing right now, instead of giving me one stinking episode of L&O. What the frak??

Okay, I was originally just going to comment that I watched Law & Order religiously from the first episode until Serena joined, then I watched sporadically until Lenny was gone, at which point I stopped watching. I recently got back into it, as I like the new cast, so I've been watching new ones (and repeats of classic ones, with my favorites being with Claire and Abby) recently. And considering the amount of times my TiVo finds one incarnation of L&O or another to record as a "suggestion", I wouldn't think it would be hard to find it. Apparently I don't notice any dearth of episodes because I am so far behind in television viewing that I can't be bothered to search out extra.

However, I noticed that you said you don't like Burn Notice, and I just had to ask why. You and I tend to have some similar tastes in shows (BSG, NCIS, L&O, House, Lost, Psych), and I consider Burn Notice to be one of my top 5 shows at the moment. I'm just curious. :)

IDK, I'm used to there being at least four L&O reruns an evening on TNT, with extra bonus reruns of SVU on USA and CI on Bravo at aroundthe same time. But now USA is showing NCIS (old ones I've seen a bunch) at that time, Bravo has been marathoning its dumb reality shows a lot, and TNT cut back in the evening in favor of Bones and Saving Grace.

I noticed that you said you don't like Burn Notice, and I just had to ask why.

First of all, in spite of how it may first appear from my TV show "portfolio", I'm really not into action/adventure. There has to be something extra to it to get my appeal. I'm not exactly sure what that "something extra" is, I don't even think I can really put it into words, but there it is.
Plus, I don't like spy stuff. I've never watched a single James Bond flick. It bores me, actually. It's just so tedious and unexciting a premise to me, plethora of stuff blowing up aside ( ... )
