Stop making these pop-y songs with such ridiculously catchy beats that they get stuck in my head and I'm forced to admit part of me really enjoys listening to over and over and OVER again -- but that at the same time have such RANDOM ASS, MIND-NUMBINGLY CONCEIVED AND PLAIN FUCKIN' AWFUL LYRICS that I kind of hate

Despite the fact that I'm sure the truth is far more complicated, my kneejerk reaction is I want to blame this entirely on the Kindle.

Thanks to those of you that sent well-wishes for my mom's surgery the other day. Everything went fine, I visited her tonight and she seems to be doing as well as she can be stuck in a hospital bed on a clear liquid diet (Yeah, kinda makes you go "ulgh" just thinking about it, right?).
