Ha! Word, admittedly. But sometimes it seems like most of the better writers for Lost do slash only, or that people are coming up with the randomest m/m pairings with new characters not because of any onscreen subtext but just because they can.

8. Good thing I just love Gaius, the human douche bag who gets frisky with Cylon hotties. It's win/win, really.

2. Back when Angel S5 was airing I remember reading BtVS and/or AtS fic I liked, but I don't remember any great ones, and I can't seem to find any I like nowadays. I wish I could, I need a Spuffy fix like whoa. Also, back in the day, I used to have epic amounts of Buffy vids saved on my computer. Good times.

Ha! Well, sadly Gaius tends to get as much hate as love from the mainstream fandom. So tragic.

See, if what I'm able to find is any indication, people still make new and amazing vids for BtVS/AtS all the time. But not so much with the fic writing.

Added disclaimer. *points up* And hey dude, I still haven't gotten tired of the slash. I just wish it didn't so completely dominate all the good writers' brains sometimes.

I grew up on the DCAU and especially BtAS (recently been revisiting the series/buying all the DVDs) so I can't stand The Batman, unfortunatly (well, except the Batman Versus Dracula movie, because it was just that level of ridonkulous). But Batman Beyond has such potential if you look at it. But I think FF.net was the only real outlet around Back in The Day, so all that exists for BB is a lot of Mary Sue and/or Max/Terry fic. Sigh.

1. Will never stop loving that show. Bought the DVDs. Fingers crossed they someday decide to release the final volume :(

3. Yay! She might not be at the top of the list or anything, but I still really love Elizabeth as a character. Again: I do so hate Die For Our Ship people. You do not need to trash perfectly decent characters to get your OTP to fall in lurve. And if you do, you are a sucky writer.

6. I direct you towards repofiction. Or, um, *cough*...any of my fics, which can be found under the repo! tag in my lj. Though beware that I write some weird shit.

7. So...not just me? IDK, I used to be able to find great stuff just from browsing my flist. Not so much anymore.

10. Seriously, I'm starting to think I need to attempt some kind BB Fandom That Never Was Appreciation Day. See if I can get something going.

This is the problem I've always faced with being a multi-shipper. I loves me some slash. I really, really do. But when it seems like no one ever writes anything good for the canon or noncanon het pairings, I start to get kind of annoyed.
