Thanks for commenting :) Yeah, there really was something bitter like burst hopefulness about that Six, something so disappointed in her...not sure if it was this something, but I found it interesting to think about.

The saddest part is it never really was a relationship. It was just Six fluttering around Barolay like a hopeful puppy.

This is so good. First of all, you have perfectly captured Six's crush. The way you describe her thoughts, actions, they are perfect at conveying it. And then, the end. How crushing is that? Very well done.

Wonderful fic, but so sad. That scene in Faith with Six and Jean made me tear up and this story makes it all the more bittersweet. Very good writing.
