Huh. I have been a bit behind on reading LJ and my flist, and so I have no idea what's going on, other than what I can infer from your post. Apparently I have some FAQs to read.
But I did actually get a comment alert today in my gmail inbox on a BSG ficlet I posted fridaynightsmut last week. All whee about the random fic comment, I clicked on the link to see the actual comment post, what do I see before me? An LJ screen saying that I have to verify I'm over 14 to see my own post! I totally know what you mean; while possibly not an issue to get on the phone to my senator about, there's actually something very irritating and condescending about it

Am I in danger of my fic journal getting flagged as adult content against my will? If so, what's the criteria? Is it about "the seven words you can't say on television" crap too, or just graphic descriptions of sex?
Is LJ now requiring me to flag my journal as adult content, with the threat that if I don't and at some later date they decide that I should have, they have the right to dump my journal?
That's just the thing...I don't know. I don't think anyone else does either. I could be wrong, but I don't believe LJ has bothered with any real specifics at all. They just want people to flag for "adult content".

That's just the thing...I don't know. I don't think anyone else does either. I could be wrong, but I don't believe LJ has bothered with any real specifics at all. They just want people to flag for "adult content".
