I could not finish that book...I dunno, it really turned me off when they had the big reveal not even halfway through the book...

"Golden Compass". I will admit, being a practicing Catholic, I wasn't happy to see a priest on her side, but I'm not sure if the book threw a curveball and I'd be proven wrong...but I'll wait to see what that Catholic newspaper my mom gets says about the film before I see it.
