I haven't been paying attention to RIP at all, so I don't know what was happening, therefore, I can say that Bruce faked his death so he could escape to Denmark and marry Jason. Yes. Wanna fanfic.

We don't actually know that Dick is Batman. The opening page of the whole thing was Batman and Robin, slightly shadowed, with Batman yelling "Batman and Robin will never die!"
Then we have 'six months earlier', Bruce goes crazy and eventually gets exploded. Dick holds the cowl over the river, and then 'six months later', we see the opening of that scene, which is one of the criminals saying 'heh, heh, Batman and Robin are dead'.
However, there's a cover for a few issues down the line, which has Batman and Robin on it...and when I saw it, I knew it wasn't Bruce and Tim. It *looks like* Dick and Damian.
