I'm surprised the whole of NYC doesn't know who he is by now.

Oh but they do but he's a New Yorker, they are New Yorkers, they pretend they don't. Even the villains.

As for SM3 - I'm one of those people that eeeeeeeew just thinking about the movie.
Not enough Eddie/Venom. He was the most anticipated villain and got, what, 10 minutes of screen time? The symbiote was untouched. They deserved more. Topher Grace however stole the movie, plus, he played Venom how Spider-Man should be played - as a cheeky, funny guy that happens to be evil.

I have to agree on one thing. Though I'm a Eddie/Peter shipper, the movie was clearly Harry/Peter. The scene when Peter entered the hospital room... it wasn't slash, it was ghay (though the scene with Peter bondage... mmmmm... Eddie was a second away from saying "Maybe it's a wrong time but would you like to go for a coffee or something?" :P)

I think I'm at a disadvantage because I don't read in Marvel. At all. Therefore, I have none of the comics lore within me to then feel horrendously let down by films. Same goes for X-Men.

See, things like 'Robin will never appear in the new Batman movies'? That makes me sad.

However, I did love the character of Venom. I can't believe they killed him off so readily, yet let Sandman wander away. But that's the nature of films - people don't react well to TBCs!
