Ups and downs of life + Art dump

Since no one wants to hear me bitch in detail, I'll do a quick summary before getting to the mediocre part!

The Bad news: My Hard drive was one of the worst cases my friend had ever seen
The Good news: My Computer got fixed AND I got a faster hard drive
The Bad news: The change over killed my photoshop (If you heard the faint echos of a F*CCCKKKK ( Read more... )

workload...., a thousand things to do; only one me, art dump, angst alert, fanart, g'damnit i'm getting nowhere, artist in me is screaming listen, mlp, ppg, computer, original characters, quillbender, work-drone-a-go

You live!

I am glad that you got your computer working again. That is very good. I lost my Photoshop once upon a time and it was -_- bad.

Good luck with your move!

Live is subjective; Amble along seems more like it.

Actually it seems like I may need to fix it again... Second time i've had to repair the startup in 2 weeks. *sigh* Add in my desktop is a paperweight at the moment and it's stressful.

I'll need the luck, though asprin help too.

As always, your art, no matter what you're drawing, provides excellent things to feast my eyes upon; I swear, sometimes I wish some artists I like were as devoted to cool little details the way you are.

That being said, I was actually a little surprised at first to see just how many books you have, then realized how silly it was when taking into account your skill level. That Weapon book in particular looks like something I really need to get my hands on, stat. 8D *drools*

(Because apparently I think of nothing else, do you mind me asking what the pink, blue, and green books are in the bottom picture?)

Details isnt always good as you can put too much detail into a drawing; It's like over stating or excessively detailing a room in a story.

The weapon book was about 10 bucks (full color, hardcover) at B&N and I've seen it there more then once. I think because it's such a specific book it's often slow to move. Next I need to get my hands on more movie art books and animal photos books. The internet is nice and all, but there's something about actually holding the book.

Oh, those aren't books; that's my PPG 10th anniversary collection XD Beside that is a mini-anime reference. Not that good, but there's a few good tidbits here and there.

Ah. Point taken. :) I think you do good details, though.

Mmhmm. Know that feeling, wanting to get hands on books. I like ebooks for the convenience, but nothing can ever replace a good book in the hands.

Figures I'd zone in on the PPG merch. I like other fandoms, I swear. XD Cool beans on seeing your stuff. I guess. Um. That sounded a little creepy. But c'est la vie, I AM a little creepy, so whatever.
