#1: Mercedes Coffin by Faye Kellerman. Quick, easy read. A little bit too convoluted for my tastes, but I love the relationships between the recurring characters, so it was worth it.

Just to put in my own 2 cents
I feel an almost physical sense of relief. I didn't want to turn on the TV this morning for fear of a different outcome.
I know that this doesn't guarantee a perfect 4 years, but at least I feel that there's hope. -

Hitting you up for money

Two in a row
I had 2 lousy workouts in a row. On Monday I was all proud of myself because I got my big ass out of the house and headed over to the gym in the afternoon. Is God giving us the finger by taking away the finger?
Recently George lost the use of his middle finger on his right hand. He dislocated the finger while shoveling the driveway. He has since recovered.
Today, I made the incredibly intelligent decision to check if the iron was on by putting my hand on the bottom. Well, it was on. And now my right middle finger is out of commission. -
