I'm starting to reach the point of post now or never again, so! Useless meme post, just so that I remember LiveJournal and how to use it. Although the rest of my flist has been quiet lately too. Is this the LJ decline they keep posting about on metafandom?

I got into HINABN through pellucere, who filled a Conrad and Worth (gen) drabble request on her LJ in January. ;) HAHAHAHA. I liked it, so I ran off and read the comic. And came back and told her she had created a monster (me). :D

that I'm doing to pretend I'm still in the fandom (NEED UPDATES).
THAT MAKES TWO OF US. Seriously, if she goes just a few more days without posting, it'll have been TWO WHOLE MONTHS with only one update. And really: I need constant new content to keep me interested I am not that strong.

Also, which country were you in when you got into YGO? ;)

Ah, I just remembered seeing comments to the effect that there was a Conrad + Worth element that got you into the comic.

"I need constant new content to keep me interested" -- who could blame you? Even sketches or portraits related to the series would be great. There's only so long you can engage with what's already there!

YGO: I was still in South Africa, but in the city Durban, visiting one of my sisters who'd moved there recently. Then she had to go on four-day training for work, and it was me, Les Mis, and to my great relief, Yugi Mutou. (Although at that time he scared me. So much EYE. And his hair - half of the characters' hair in YGO - seemed to have escaped from a reasonably secure facility.)

(I am forseeing myself skipping the memes for weeks at a time, haha.)

I totally think it would be awesome if she took pictures of the book!sketches before sending them out. She seems to be doing funky ones (that one with Lee and Veser, for example!) - I've seen another with Cas and Finas. I think the recipients would be fine with it. Still her art after all. :)

Your count is close - I have 2 sisters. Sister-I-am-living-with and sister-living-in-Johannesburg (who was once the one living in Durban). Sisters are pretty great - as youngest I get their awesome hand-me-down clothes. XD (And of course mine are lovely people. *beams love out into the world*) Sometimes I’m wistful for brothers, though, they often seem fun for beating up in a friendly way.

I will do it in chunks. 3 / 5 questions at a time, that sort of thing.
