I'm starting to reach the point of post now or never again, so! Useless meme post, just so that I remember LiveJournal and how to use it. Although the rest of my flist has been quiet lately too. Is this the LJ decline they keep posting about on metafandom?

I'm also using it for KHR, as that is how I roll, and because the "[Insert animanga series here] 30 day challenge" has terrible questions. "Which character would you like to see personified as a cat?" no thank you.
Day 1
How did you find out about HiNaBN?
1. Someone recced it.
2. There was a secret on Fandom Secrets.
3. Someone recced it. By now it registers as something I remember seeing around.
4. There was a seriously hot Conrad/Worth secret on Fandom Secrets.*
5. I said argh fine and read it. Didn't like it much, but Zombie was awesome so I decided to try again. When I did reread it, I died laughing And Then there was Veser.

How did you find out about KHR?
Chapters around the 60s-90s kept going up on StopTazmo's Latest Downloads page without anything else related to KHR appearing on the site, which had me dying to know what happened in chapters 1-59ish. Eventually, One Manga (RIP) provided the scans.
....And I will also do the meme for a BONUS FANDOM that changes as I please, because that "i can't shut up!" tag: it's a fact.
How did you find out about Yu-Gi-Oh?
I was on vacation in a city I'd never visited before, the one person I did know had to leave town for a few days, and I only had Les Misérables for company. Which is a fine brickbook, I enjoyed it, but by page 12 of an impassioned dissertation on Paris's eighteenth century sewers you need someone to strangle or something else to do.
Luckily, I switched on the TV and caught the half of the second last episode of Duellist Kingdom, featuring ... magical multiple personality disorder? (Bizarre anime versions of) Ancient Egyptians? A nearly normal-looking demonic boy-DID HE STEAL THAT GUY'S GOLDEN EYEBALL?!?! And then the next episode had Pegasus's dramatic backstory of love thwarted and the Kaiba brothers flinging themselves into a hug, and it was like, yes, random cartoon, you've ticked off a good 70% of my random narrative kinks and in fact, created new ones.
