The dialogue was fun, except it kept turning into full-on auntie mode, causing a bout of "I can't sound like that, I'm too young to sound like that!" It's weird trying to write more-or-less how I speak. (I can't characterise myself!)
Um, hi! This is still Chris! :)aefallenAugust 12 2010, 17:13:35 UTC
I just wanted to say I've friended you on this journal - this used to be my personal journal for a good long time, until the shifting demographics of the flist caused me to make the fandom one. *wry smile* I do say so in a friends-locked post over here, so it really is me, not a strange stranger pretending to be me. I've been meaning to do so for a while - it's just that I had pretty much abandoned this personal journal and moved exclusively to using my fandom journal. *wry smile* I've gone back to one of my sporadic-periods-of-activity on it at the moment. Not that there's anything you've see posted there in the last year or so that didn't first appear on my fandom journal.
*grin* Ps. "auntie mode" reminds me of home. :)
HAHA we are never too young to sound like that in the face of TOMFOOLERY.
Re:strike-out part: I did say it was self-insert wish fulfillment! And I think most people who decide they want to have "curves in all the right places" don't consider the difficulties of that. XD Glad you liked it.
There's not much in the way of vuvuzelas around here anymore, so I get all nostalgic when there is a stray BRRRAAAAAAAP. And South Africa vs. Ghana was 1:0 to South Africa! \o/
