I've seen this meme around: list 100 of female characters you love. Which didn't seem to have much point - of course there are 100 female characters I like, it doesn't mean they're treated well in the source, or that there's much reason to like them. Some of these women are real assholes, or exist in canon for no other reason than to have drunken ( Read more... )

Téa (Yuugiou, watch me blithely mix manga and dub anime ohoho. But I am fond of Téa as well as Anzu, which is a bit rare. She was the first character I liked at all.)

GOOD FOR YOU. I liked her too, even though she did get annoying at times. She was kind of like a role model for me, almost.

AND THEN BAKURA APPEARED HURR HURR

It was because of that smiley face she drew on everyone's hands in the first episode. I was like "That is not really a good kind of plan, but it is stunningly adorable!" I like her bags and bags of attitude. Also, she's the only person in Yuugiou whose hair didn't terrify me at first glance.

...And then Bakura appeared. :D

beware spoilers for Terry Pratchett's Monstrous Regiment

*vbg* And 'bwuh?' at the ABC-thing, because ... bwuh?

Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to write a drabble for each of these characters?

Well, I hate to spoil people. And maybe this way people could at least be surprised by the extent to which EVERYONE is female. XD

I'm refusing to think about the ABC thing anymore. I guess I just have a very illiterate look in my eyes.

And I'm definitely not thinking about that many drabbles! Shh, don't tempt me! (*tempted*)

Mary Poppins was frightening. But at least you could be sure that she had her priorities straight, and you'd be home by teatime. I really like the last book in the series, though, because she spends most of that mildly drunk and hanging out a bunch of stars. So she's a least a little bit more human. :D

Tomorrow I'm going to sit her down and count to 10, so she can have a clear idea of my qualifications.
