Unironically, now, I love Fanfiction.net. It's got neat features and a good layout, a quite lively community and a greater likelihood of comments on old fics. But the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! section just reminded me that there are good reasons the place is referred to as The Pit.

Actually I also laughed very hard at the Hibaricest thing. A large part of this was because of the summary which implied that Hibari did this thing IN HIS FREE TIME.

oh man the Yamamoto + daddy cosplay is the most wonderful thing ever. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy and filled with happy feelings.

It HURT, how much I laughed.

I can't imagine that Yamamoto is anything but Lenny. OTL It hurts me, it really does, why can't I stop giggling.

A large part of this was because of the summary which implied that Hibari did this thing IN HIS FREE TIME.
The summary makes it sound like "EVERYBODY NEEDS A HOBBY, OKAY, THIS IS HIBARI'S. Don't hate!" It was so weird to see.

oh god i was on ffnet one time, cruisin' through the Eyeshield 21 section desperately...

and there was this one person, f.Starhawk or hawk starsrgbdrogbd that kept whoring Sena.
In bad fairy tales.
Beauty and the Beast, Agon/Sena.
Snow White, Yamato/Sena, these were for sure.

Seriously, I can understand trying to choose between shippings, BUT REALLY NOW.

People love doing that kind of thing with a main character. It makes sense to me, even if I don't see the potential for most of the ships (especially with Sena, who I mostly ship with Suzuna and guilty-crack-ship with Kakei. Also, Sena/Suzuna/Monta FTW.), since the protagonist needs some kind of chemistry with most of the characters they meet. And Sena looks "uke" while most of his opponents look "seme", which probably fuels the fire. Definitely fuels the fire, actually.

What really bothers me about the ES21 section is Hiruma/OC to the power of infinity. There are so many American exchange students!

AGREED about the disgustingly huge amount of female American OCs all trying to get their grabby hands on Hiruma. :|
