Weekly Shonen Jump, quit playing games with my heart. When I think things are boring and I should leave manga alone for a few weeks, things go and *happen*.

Bleach 333, KHR 217 )

meta, reborn!, bleach

Hey there. *grin*

re. Google search and intelligence levels of previous interns: I laughed. Good for you! \o/

Also. re. your Gokudera-and-Bianchi fic: you should link on your LJ, too! I should not have to find out that you have written new fic via reborn_daily! What if I'd missed it?

And the expression on Spanner's face like Tsuna has been displaced from the throne of Favourite Toy!
You crush my heart, but I have also never been laughing so hard. So true, though. So true.

Maybe I should give manga a rest anyway. Now that things are getting interesting, it'd be nice to get a lot of answers all at once.
I completely agree with your proposed plan of action! I would follow it myself save for the fact that I am insatiably curious about what happens next.
but thank you Amano, because freezing everyone's hands is a neat, reasonable, and Tsuna way to take care of the danger
I thought the same thing! *cheers*

Hey there! Back from Bali already? It sounded great from your post. :D

One of the previous interns got a job in the office, and she's smart! I don't know, I guess the other people take a glass-half-empty approach to life and try not to get their hopes up.

Ah, but you see, the minute I post something I cordially detest it. A couple of days later I can look at it again. And I find crossposting irritating, so I try not to subject others to it.

I would follow it myself save for the fact that I am insatiably curious about what happens next.
I KNOW. Let's face it, I probably won't be able to do it. Addiction!

Amano is a pretty steady kind of writer. I find that what's good stays good, and the flaws don't pile up either. Hoorah!

That I am! *smiles* It was great fun. The country was a little on edge because they were executing the Bali bombers around that time and refused to reveal the date due to tensions it would spark (turned out the executions were carried out the day after I left).

*grin!* Could be - or maybe they decide to be sweet and encouraging to interns. ♥

re. you and writing! Now would be the perfect time for me to tell you, hey, people like your work.

Evil Shounen Jump. This is what happens when they keep ending on cliffhangers.

re. Amano as a writer: This is true. I agree on the steadiness, and I am intensely glad for that. ♥

Damn, that sounds rather unpleasant. I'm glad there was a lot to enjoy That is a good point. Probably I should be more charitable to them.

...*hides face* Thank you. But ...*hides face*

And I realised that most other SJ titles started showing unenjoyable tendencies around the late 200s, early 300s - even Eyshield 21, which up till then was consistently brilliant fun. Maybe we should give Amano another 100 or so chapters (by which point, who could blame anyone for getting a little sick of a story even if it is their own?).

as nice as it would've been that it was Gin, isn't he surrounded by a GIANT FLAMING WALL COURTESY OF GENRUUSAI RIGHT NOWWWWW I want to see the Vizards too.... I'm hoping it's Hinamori... In a better state of mind...

Yeah, I liked how Tsuna actually froze their hands too, or else I might have died from the corniness. And yes, Spanner's really grown on me... I didn't like him at all when the Spanner boom came, but now. OH SPANNER. It's nice to have a character that isn't physically strong get this much screentime. :3

AND THE WHITE MACHINE YESSSSS please answers nao Amano?

I was hoping that Gin somehow, magically got out from behind the firewall. It's not likely, but I hoped!

I might have died from the corniness
Inorite. And I'm glad Spanner got you! He makes me ♥ all over the place.

ahh this is a long comment DD: sry sry pekori November 10 2008, 02:19:07 UTC
First and foremost, sanity is completely overrated and you probably would not be able to enjoy Bleach or Reborn! if you had more of it.

Now, with Bleach, I agree, but I've also sort of become accustomed to Kubo toying with us like that - i.e., making us think we're about to get something out of a chapter and then suddenly cutting it short with a very obviously staged cliffhanger. Old news, old news. But I really have no concrete ideas of who the mystery help could be coming from. Hinamori would've...not been my first guess, but I don't keep up with soul_society at all (shame on me?) plus I am really crap at guessing.

And as far as Reborn!'s concerned, I didn't even notice the bit about the legs until you pointed it out for me. XD; (Lal's leg in that middle panel is terrifying D: omg) Iamsoexcitedforthemachinefinallythoughyay~*

edit o lol I forgot the most important thing I wanted to comment about: Haha, Hitsugaya would have fits. Probably Yamamoto would too.
Despite mentioning Hitsugaya one sentence earlier I still thought of the wrong ( ... )

That's not so long. Speak your mind, it's a (mostly) free internet! demoerin November 10 2008, 15:13:13 UTC

BAHAHA. This is probably true, especially for Reborn!

Bleach is definitely pulling a basic stunt - but it worked on me. Gin and Matsumoto's relationship interests me, and ever since I read this fic where Hinamori is an 80 year old of ballbusting win I realised that I'd love to see more of her. While I can hope it's one of them, I'm loving Bleach. XD

Despite mentioning Hitsugaya one sentence earlier I still thought of the wrong Yamamoto. -____-;
I do that ALL THE TIME. And recently I've had to stop myself from a crossover where Genryuusai is the first person to develop a Shigure Souen form. (It wouldn't really make sense, anyway, since Genryuusai is all afire and Shigure Souen works best if you're in a swimming pool. PS: why did anyone ever think such a sword style was a good idea??)
