As the festive season approaches (rapidly) I thought it may be fun to treat ourselves to a little Christmas cheer with our favourite characters. Mod approval, from me at least - I don't see why not.

Maybe there should be a master post, to make navigation a bit easier? Like, people could link to their submissions in the comments of this post, and then a master post could be created linking to all of that? That way it'd be easier to find from the comm itself, while avoiding spamming those who might not be interested.

I thought of an old fic I did years and years ago that I might revise...it's still one of my faves of what I've written.

It's over 5000 words. I had no idea I was so wordy back then.

Still a fun idea. I don't think I have time to participate, but I say go for it.

To be honest, I only put the word count in as I thought having to write something really lengthy in such a short space of time would be off putting for people. If you have fic you would like to contribute, I'd like to read it!

I looked it over last night. It would need a lot of revision. I'll see what I can get done -- though I'm also at work on a novel, so I might not have anything ready. We'll see.

It's still a great idea. I hope you get lots of participation.

It would be nice. I hope you do get the time/inspiration to do something - but, if not, you can at least have fun reading other people's entries. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for entries from more than just me!
