Seasonal challenge...
As the festive season approaches (rapidly) I thought it may be fun to treat ourselves to a little Christmas cheer with our favourite characters. There was talk some time ago of the possibility of issuing fic writing challenges, and I wondered if now might be a good time to try something. I know many people have plans for the holidays, but this is just a bit of lighthearted fun. Please let me know whether you think this is a dreadful/fantastic idea (delete as appropriate) and why.
My thoughts are:
Entries must have a holiday theme/connection - either Christmas or New Year.
They must involve some of Orczy's characters
Writings should be short (up to 1,000 words)
For those of a more artistic bent, drawings, paintings and other creative offerings would be fabulous.
Deadline: Jan 6, 2008!
I thought we could post stuff here (if it's ok with mods), or link to individual journals or webpages, or I can upload things to my lj, if you'd like.
Anyway, that's my idea - thoughts welcome.
