Stephenie Meyer? VOMIT. Hahhaha. I would gladly read the back of a shampoo bottle sooner than read her drivel. Gosh. I feel like it would have to be the last book on Earth....and even then I'd have to think about it. Her writing is just so atrocious. My Mom tried to get me to read the Twilight book and I got three pages into it and wanted to throw up.

I think I got H.P. Lovecraft when I did mine. I'm sort of convinced that it just randomly puts a name up there.

Yeah. I read the first chapter of the first Twilight book and had to give up because I couldn't stand her writing. Which is why I'm not thrilled to see her name pop up for ANY of my fics, never mind some of my personal favorites that I've written. :/ And then I got really mad when she came out with that other series (can't remember the name off the top of my head) because part of the plot sounded like a complete rip-off of Animorphs, which was a fantastic series. XD;

That's possible. I might actually have to check out some of the stuff by the guy who my journal entry brought up - Cory Doctorow. I read the preview for one of his books on Amazon and it's about people who play MMORPGs, and I liked the style of it from the first chapter, so. :D Yay for random author recommendations.

BTW How is your new job going? You're back in the States again and started the new job, right? *gets so confused when people travel* XD

Yeah, her writing really sucks. I can't fathom why people like it. I mean...I guess because someone else wrote that she writes the main character without any description so that readers can picture themselves as her or something. I'm glad your job's going well so far! Congrats on getting certification. What'd that entail?

lol, I got an interview in Japanese and failed spectacularly, because I remember nothing. I am sure you will do fine, since you actually CAN speak it. XP Go, go! Lots of traveling!

If the seating at the wedding goes the way that it's currently been explained to me, I'll be sitting at the same table as you. :D Along with my parents, lol, cuz they aren't going to know anyone there, really. I'm excited I get to see you! ♥
