I sometimes really hate I get so attached to pairings that don't have much basis in canon. I mean, when I was in love with Yuffie and Vincent as a pairing, I only had the goddamn game. Interaction? I love watching fanvids, so part of my want is the wish that there were good chunks of material for fanvidders to work off of. Also, for the FF series, I keep going for the oldest guy in the group with the youngest female. Weird thing? I didn't even know Basch was that old when I started. It was only after I read his bio that I saw that he was thirty-six years old. I keep getting Auron/Rikku flashbacks.

I love, love fanvids, and the lack of Basch and Penelo interaction means I don't get very many fanvids. Or rather, any fanvids. ;_;

There was a bit more for Vincent and Yuffie in the game, though it was hidden really well; I tend to like some small hints, even if it was just my mind making things up to satisfy my own eccentricities. Even though I had Basch and Penelo standing next to each other in a fight and it wasn't indicative of anything, I still got a thrill out of it. Yes, I'm a bit cracked in the head ( ... )
