I have doubts that the new Buffy would be feminist, considering that the whole reason they want to bring it back is to explore the "bubblegum" aspect of it.

In any case she's bound to be more feminist than Bella from the concept of her character alone. She's a Slayer. So even if she's boppy and bubblegum she's still going to be feminist. After all, that's how Buffy started out. She's pretty bubblegumesque in season one, isn't she?
