More icon memetime and some bonus thoughts.
First thought - I am now fully supporting the Buffy remake. Why? One word. BELLA. The anti-feminist travesty that ever had the audacity to call herself heroine. Bella represents all that feminists have been trying to break out of for decades - she the perfect meek little woman, perfect wife, perfect mother, has no real fighting power, and whose life is dictated by men. It tears me apart that thousands of girls are looking to her as their role model. So I say BRING BACK BUFFY. These girls need a better model, and Buffy is obviously the answer, in whatever incarnation. Hopefully the film will be popular enought to suck in the Twilight crowd because they are the people that need it most.

Hit Girl is one of my all time favourite characters, and I love this moment. The look on her face is so feral which is obviously a major part of her character. And this scene is great. I love this icon, because although the scene is morbidly comic this snapshot shows the undercurrent of wild fury. If you're interested in some others, it's part of this batch.

This icon is of Faith pretending to be Buffy in Who Are You? It was part of my Faith icon batch. I used the other images at the side to try and show Faith's deteriorating mental state in this plot arc.

Tweek because, along with Kyle and Wendy he's my fave South Park character :D He's just so insane and stressed and awesome. Reminds me of me when I freak out. And it's a great icon to have for WTF posts! And if you want some more South Park icons, and an insane amount of Buffy ones, they're here.

This was done for part of my last HBIC20in20 batch. It's possibly my favourite. I found this cap tucked away at the back on my many files on River, and I just had to icon it. I love the background because it matches her outfit and hair and the feeling of the scenes (which is maybe my favourite in the entirity of Firefly and Serenity, maybe second only to the bamf scene in Serenity). I love how it looks like she's leaping into light, and I managed to blend it really well. Plus it's such a happy icon.

This is such a great Fray moment. In fact, all her moments are great, but I love this image of her loading the gun. It's also a great angry icon to use when I want to shoot stuff! :D There are more here.

My second favourite from the HBIC20in20 batch. I love this one mostly because of the colouring. So many colouring layers went into this to change it from the blue wash used in the film. I also love the expression on her face, and the fight after this moment is so cool.
Anyway, this was fun and way too time consuming, so I'm gonna go tidy my room and write an essay now to make up for it :D
