Ok, so tbh I hated S3. Well, not hated. But it was kinda too depressing. The Darla plotline was good, but I could never get into the baby!Connor story cos I know of him when he's older. But anyway - thoughts!

First of all I wanted to say hi, your graphics are fabulous. :)
Also, nice to know we think quite alike, at least if this post of yours is anything to go by. Fred/Gunn is my favorite couple on Angel. I mean, there are more exciting love stories told there, sure, but the relationship those two had was wonderful. It reminds me a little of Willow/Oz, don't know why. Maybe it's the warmth and a sense of complementing one another to both of the couples.
And I really like Connor. He's a great character. His actions are often dubious, but I get where he comes from.

Lol, I wouldn't worry about the Connor crush. Vincent Kartheiser was 23 when it was shot. XD

*phew* Thanks :D Wow he looks so young! That's kinda disturbing... And I just realised that I had a crush on Oz when he was just 16 in Buffy so it's not actually that wrong! It just seems wrong because it's a grown up show instead of a teenage show!

1) I hadn't even thought about it before, but it would have been SO MUCH more awesome if Fred played for the soul. Especially since they were mad that Gunn had given his soul away to Fred, she could like reclaim ownership. But, whatever, she still totally saved him by rallying the troops.

I think that Wesley sees Fred as his idea woman, but he also really has no comprehension of who she is. He literally has never gotten to know her, never spent real time with her. He just decided that she is his great love and bleh... kinda annoying. *is a little biased because Lilah is totally Wes's perfect woman*

2) I never hated Connor, I just always forget about him. I guess I like him less than the other regulars, you know? I even love Wesley more which is kinda a big deal because Wesley and I have our issues.

Haha, I love that Gunn is on your wavelength (and that he apparently secretly loves Peter Pan).

I'm jealous of your snow.

1) OMG I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF THAT!! Argh, now I'm even more angry. It seems so little, but this happens ALL THE BLOODY TIME in shows, and it's happened in AtS before. It's like the episode HAS to have the main character, or any guy do the dangerous thing. It's just so anti feminist. And you're right - if Fred had played it would have had this beautiful symmetry to it. And it would have hearkened back to an earlier episode where Gunn said that she could be the macho one and win him the bear ( ... )

Wilah (Wes/Lilah) is my fave ship of the show after Cordy/Angel (it was the first pairing I vidded when I was figuring out how to vid too)--so stay tuned! ;) I hope you love it too...though now you've past AN, you're getting into the really good stuff, have you seen Habeas Corpses yet? What do you think of Wilah in season 4 so far? (I didn't see an AN recap post on your journal btw...:s ( ... )
