Buffy Worship: Original Movie Remake

I am aware that I may get attacked for this but I would actually welcome a remake.

Don't scream at me!  Hear me out.

The original film was crappy cracky brilliance.  And it's fun when you're drunk.  But it was never realised to its true potential (probably because Joss didn't direct).  So a new version could be so awesome.

That's quite creepy! She'd be brilliant as Buffy but there's no way the producers of the remake would cast anyone that was in the series :(

Ahh, Dakota as Buffy is a fantastic idea! I've never seen Brittany Robertson act, but there's something about the way she looks in pictures that reminds me of SMG (not that much in the pictures you posted, but in many of these).

I wouldn't have much faith in the movie without Whedon, but if it was made I would totally watch it anyway.

I think so! She's such a brilliant actress :D

The executive producer of the potential remake was actually the exec of the series too. So it's not like there are no connections to the series. But I think it would suffer without Whedon, simply because his writing is genius and without that spark I think everything sucks :P
