This is just gonna be a quick post cos I'm watching the episodes. But remember how Aang's attachment to Katara blocked his last chakra? So he couldn't enter the Avatar state.

At the end of season 3 he finally enters the Avatar State... because he got shoved into a rock which pierced his scar?

aang is adorable, rantish, otp: katara/zuko, zuko needs to calm his tits, avatar: the last airbender, katara the mighty, aang is badass, pedanticness

I think I'd have liked Kataang if Aang DID make the painful decision to let go of Katara at the end of S2. And then while he struggled by himself for awhile, Katara would sort out her feelings more clearly. And at some point, she would go up to him and say something like, "but I never gave up onyou". I could really have gotten behind that!
