Ok.  I lied.  Buffy is not my favourite messiah.  This is.

(there is no eye catching image cos it's not very Fight Club, nao?)

First of all, let me apologise for this post.  I just watched the film and it's 3am.  My thoughts (or what's left of them after the epic mindfuck) are not what you would call collected.  Or, you know, sane.

I wish I could hug that movie (and the book), or possibly punch it, I really do. It's my favorite as well, and I love everything you said.

One scene I've always loved to try to figure out is: "Guys, what would you wish you'd done before you died?"; the whole scene in the car--what did it look like to the two other guys? When the narrator and Tyler are fighting? That's one I always like to puzzle over when I watch it.

Hitting bottom is not a weekend-retreat, it's not a goddamn seminar. Stop trying controlling everything and just let go. Let go!

Ahhhh gooood I love it so much.

Oh, and how could I have forgotten one of my fave lines? "Haha! We have just had a near-life experience!"

My fave is "it is only once we have lost anything that we are free to do anything". But there are sooo many.

"A moment is all you can expect from perfection" and "I want to have your abortion" are amazing lines from the book that should have made it into the film. Fox are a bunch of piss pants for not letting the abortion one stay in. It's just so much nastier!
