I can only imagine what the poor boy has to go through with such a sensitive nose. There would be so many smells from everyone's own personal scent to chemicals from experiments. Shit, maybe even the Dusks return with a weird scent now and then.

"Oh look, this Dusk smells like a dead cactus and shisha. Must've been doing recon in Agrabah."

Your descriptions really make me want to find a perfume that could match Marluxia's scent. That, and maybe wet garden soil. Tbh, that can smell rather nice.
