1. I think I friended you the summer after your first year, probably because Katy did. I didn't really get to know you until we were LJ friends.
2. Fish, the beach, and your octopus hat.
3. I like how honest and genuine you are. You make your friends feel like they're special people.
4. We were all at dinner, and you'd had a bad day. I had a box of butternut squash soup. I told you you could shake it to relieve some of your tension, but I didn't warn you fast enough that it was already open. You were covered in soup. You said it was running down your shelf bra. But you were laughing, so it must have worked, right?
5. What was it like growing up with a gay parent? If this is too personal, please tell me.
6. Eel grass, hands down. It's one of my favorite user pics ever.
PS-I think the easiest way to get back into posting is to just post whatever comes to your mind-even if you don't think it's that interesting, throw it up here. If we're bored, we'll forgive you.
1. I thought your LJ name was awesome. I didn't friend you right away, because I'm generally shy about inserting myself into other people's lives. But, once I actually met you and Katy friended you, I did the same. Cause, you know, you're operafloozy
( ... )
4. Haha, the Pixies at Umass (it's educational). I swear, the trash can moved. And yes, I was trying to eat some ice cream Mel (King) had left in the apartment while trying to clean up and move out, but then the one spoon I had broke. That was not a fun day
( ... )
Haha... I don't know what you're smoking, but I'll answer anyway.
1. We were friends in real life before you moved, and you were one of the few people I actually talked to online when I made my LJ.
2. Dune.
3. You're super intelligent, a rare enough thing in Yuma. I like that you were always patient with me and my computer illiteracy and didn't make me feel stupid.
4. I seem to have blocked out many things that happened before I went to college. Mostly, I remember hanging out with you and Christina in AcaDec. You taught me how to deal with numbers in a base other than ten. I remember you making fun of my height (not that it's hard to do that).
5. What are you up to nowadays? I don't even know where you live any more.
5. I only know the one userpic, because you don't post often. So, that one.
1. As opposed to now, where you're pretty much never online, yes?
2. It is awesome. Read it, if you haven't yet.
3. Illiteracy isn't necessarily a bad thing. Refusal to learn anything ever, on the other hand...
4. Heh. That different base stuff has only gotten more relevant for me. It's pretty much essential to being a good programmer. At least going between bases 2, 8, 10, and 16. Then again, the only challenge in that is going to or from base 10. As for the short jokes, I seem to remember having things thrown at me for that.
5. As of right now, I am living in Pahrump, Nevada (60 miles from Vegas), dealing at a casino, and enjoying none of it. I am, however, working on getting myself a real job, in Seattle if possible. To that end, I do have a phone interview with Amazon on Monday, so I'm excited about that. Also, I've finally gotten around to playing Final Fantasy in its various forms, and have found myself obsessed. I now can actually tell WTF your icon is.
6. No, I don't post often. I need to look into correcting that.
