1. I thought your LJ name was awesome. I didn't friend you right away, because I'm generally shy about inserting myself into other people's lives. But, once I actually met you and Katy friended you, I did the same. Cause, you know, you're operafloozy.
2. Knitting. The color brown. Lopi yarn. Firefly. Hall parties.
3. I like that you can be both fangirlish (haha, I called you a fangirl) and serious about things. I like that you think seriously about the world, but can still be silly. You're easy to talk to, even when I'm feeling awkward (which is a lot). You tell awesome stories.
4. I remember the time you unexpectedly got tickets to a concert, and you squeed and ran down the hallway and clipped the trashcan on your way. You have a way with trashcans. I remember when you were moving back to Smith for your senior year, and things were going badly and you were stressed out in general. Then your only spoon broke (I think you were trying to eat ice cream?). I think we rescued you, and lent you a spoon.
5. Why are you so awesome? Okay, that's not fair. I'm having a really hard time thinking of questions. Sorry if this is lame. What would be your dream job (now or in the future)? Who would you work for, and what would you do?
6. I like the boy and the chicken I think it fits you. I'm not sure why.
4. Haha, the Pixies at Umass (it's educational). I swear, the trash can moved. And yes, I was trying to eat some ice cream Mel (King) had left in the apartment while trying to clean up and move out, but then the one spoon I had broke. That was not a fun day.
5. You see, I suck at this question because I'm pretty practical about occupations.
I do want to get into social research at some point in the semi-near future-if this job lasts as long as I hope it will (for another year), I'd like that to be my next occupation. Because people are awesome-people in groups are more awesome. Also, it's one of those things that would make the world a better place.
Being involved in convention/conference organizing/planning. I do like solving problems for people, and love hearing people talk about what they love/base their life around. Also, how bizarre these things seem to those who aren't part of them. Minneapolis is kind of a crappy place for it-there is a large convention center, but it's still very new --not many conventions are actually held here.
