I’ve always known that I wanted to breastfeed. It never crossed my mind during my pregnancy that I would need bottles or formula. My body somehow knew how to grow the babe, why wouldn’t it know how to make the milk it needed to keep him happy and thriving? My little guy was born slightly premature and everything went chaotic. i didn't realize u were doing this- I'm so proud of you!

nursing was "easy" for me- no complications & Talia won't do anything else.
I'm not sure I could've done the same in your situation.

also : good for you. Not many women can provide what you are for your son, and your determination is wonderful. (though, formula-fed babies aren't neglected babies, I was formula-fed and I'm very well adjusted, and mentally aware! No, not starting a boobie vrs bottle arguement, just standing up for my mum ;) )

This may sound weird, but I've read in the LLL that sometimes haveing an experinced mom nurse for a couple of times to teach how to latch, but I think that it maybe for newborns... I know I had great support with my doc nurses and my aunt whom I lived with would nurse my two year old cousin right along with me and help.
